Landlord accused of setting fire to tenant’s auto in Kadma

Jamshedpur: A landlord of Kadma in Jamshedpur has been accused of setting on fire the autorickshaw of his tenant. The charges have been levelled by the tenant himself. The police are investigating the charges. The auto driver claimed that he has been rendered hapless and without a means of livelihood.

The auto driver has registered a case against his landlord B Mahato at Kadma police station. At present, the police are investigating the charges and the facts.

According to the auto driver, he, Rajkumar Bag, lives on rent in the house of B Mahato, a resident of Kadma Mittal Apartment.

According to Rajkumar Bagh, he allegedly had a dispute with the landlord Friday night regarding the rent payment.

Rajkumar Bagh alleged that his landlord set fire to his auto under the influence of alcohol.

According to him, his auto got burnt completely.

Rajkumar Bagh told that he has taken an auto on loan and he pays the installment by driving the auto and also takes care of the family.

He said that due to this act of the landlord he has been rendered completely hapless and without a job or means to earn a livelihood.

Police is investigating the matter. It is not yet known how to auto got charred or who set fire to it.
