US offers unconditional assistance to Pakistan in fighting terrorism

Militants have captured a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) center in Bannu, Pakistan. After learning of this news, the United States offered unconditional assistance to Pakistan in the fight against the militant organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and similar groups.

Earlier, agencies reported that Pakistani army commandos on Tuesday stormed a counter-terrorism centre and killed militant detainees who had seized control of the facility, as well as rescuing their hostages, after talks failed to resolve a two-day standoff.

He said, “We call on those responsible to stop all violence and release the hostages and leave the center.”

He also said that we are ready to help against terrorist groups on the Pakistan-Afghan border.
