Desk: Bangladesh National Hindu Grand Alliance formed a human chain and held a protest and demonstration in front of National Press Club in Dhaka to protest against vandalism and attack on Hindu temples in Pakistan.
The protestors also raised voice against human rights violations against Hindus in Pakistan.
It may be added here that recently in Pakistan a mandir was destroyed by Islamists. The incident caused a lot of flutter in India too.
The minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh have been facing constant discrimination and attacks from Islamists. The number of minorities in the two countries have dropped significantly in the recent years.
Although, the destruction of a mandir in Pakistan has caused a lot of discussion in Indian media too, Hindus of India have not taken much notice and have largely ignored the incident.
However, Bangladesh Hindus did raise their voice against Mandir vandalism in Pakistan.
In Bangladesh too, several mandir have been attacked by fundamentalists in the recent years.
