Bus hits milk van near Dimna Lake, 6 passengers, 1 biker injured

Jamshedpur: More than half a dozen passengers and a bike rider were injured when a passenger bus hit a milk van near Dimna Lake under the jurisdiction of MGM Police Station. The bus was going from Tata to Dhanbad when this accident occurred. The collision between the two vehicles was frontal and this caused serious injuries to several passengers. Both the vehicles were also damaged.

Injured passengers and the biker were rushed to MGMCH with the help of locals. Two passengers are stated to be in a serious condition.

The MGMCH Police too arrived at the site of occurrence soon after receiving information and helped in the rescue operation.

The BJP leader Vikas Singh also reached the place and sought information about the condition of the passengers.

Sources said that the Kalyani Bus was involved in the accident and it was going to Dhanbad from Tata and was full of passengers. Meanwhile, a milk van was coming from the opposite side and both the vehicles dashed against each other in a frontal collision. A biker was also injured in the collision. All the injured are being treated in MGMCH.
