Corona relents on Thursday, no death in Jamshedpur

Total deaths 371, recovery rate 97%, mortality rate 2.2%, positivity 4.4%

Jamshedpur: While Thursday witnessed 6 deaths in Jharkhand due to coronavirus pandemic, for Jamshedpur the day passed off without any sad news. Coronavirus did not cause any death in the district on Thursday as the total death toll remained at 371.

According to official data, 22 new coronavirus positive cases were detected in the district. On the other hand, 21 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals. Till date, 16,293 patients have recovered from the pandemic, while the number of infections have reached 16,867.

For now, the number of active coronavirus patients in the district is 203.

Till Thursday, the district has tested a total of 3,87,024 samples. Out of these, 16,867 samples have tested positive. 3,70,157 samples have tested negative.

Till Thursday, the recovery rate for the district is 97%, while the mortality rate is 2.2%. The positivity rate is still ate 4.4%.
