NIT Jamshedpur braces for AMPT-2020 on Oct 31-Nov 1

Jamshedpur: The Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Department of NIT Jamshedpur would hold a Virtual National Seminar on “Advanced Material Processing Technology 2020 (AMPT-2020)” on October 31-November 1, 2020. A meeting to review the preparations for the seminar was held on Sunday. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Ranjit Prasad and Dr. Reena Sahu.

Prof. Budaraju Srinivasa Murty, Director, IIT Hyderabad would be the chief guest in the seminar.

Till date, researchers and educationalists of more than prestigious institutions and organisations, including IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT BHU, ISM Dhanbad, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Patna, NIFFT Ranchi, Andhra University, MDU University, have submitted more than 50 research papers for the seminar.

Several students, including Priya Ranjan Mishra, Prateek, Aditi, Shrishti and Rajnish, also participated in the review meeting.
