Corona takes 6 more lives on Wednesday in Jamshedpur, total death toll 150

276 new Covid-19 positive cases detected in East Singhbhum district

Jamshedpur: Coronahas taken 6 more lives in East Singhbhum district Wednesday taking the total death toll to 149. All 5 persons have died in TMH and all had co-morbidities too.

Meanwhile, 276 fresh cases were also detected in the district.

According to information received late Wednesday evening, among the 5 deceased was a 70-year-old man from Agrico. He was admitted in TMH with breathing difficulty. He succumbed to complications on Wednesday.

Similarly, a 85-year-old man from Kadma also succumbed to the virus on Wednesday.

The third person was a man from Telco. He was 73-year-old and had hyper tension. He too died during treatment.

The fourth casualty was that of a 66-year-old woman from Sonari. She too had co-morbidities and died during treatment.

The fifth casualty was that of a 59-year-old man from Adityapur. He too had a couple of co-morbidities and died of complications.

A sixth person also died late night in TMH. No details could be ascertained about this patient’s age and residence.

In all, Covid has killed 5 men and 1 women in TMH today.

With this the total number of people who have died of Covid-19 in the city has reached 149.

Most of the deceased have either had some co-morbidity or were on the higher side of the age.
