Bank employees protest privatisation, wrong policies of central government

Jamshedpur: Bank employees of East Singhbhum led by Singhbhum District Bank Employees’ Association today demonstrated in front of Central Bank, Bistupur against the alleged wrong policies of the central government. They called their protest day as “Save India Day”.

Later, the leaders of bank employees said that the union government is on a privatisation spree and is privatising most of the government institutions.

They said that this is adding to the number of unemployed people in the country.

They said that the public sector enterprises are being privatised and banks are being merged causing large scale unemployment and property.

They said that their union will continue opposing the wrong policies of the government.

They warned of prolonged agitation, if the government does not change its policies.
