Fire in KF 2 parking lot in Kadma, 11 bikes gutted

Jamshedpur: A fire broke out in the parking lot of KF 2 building of Tata Steel Employees’ Flats in Kadma. 11 bikes parked in the lot were completely gutted in the fire.

The fire has caused fear among the people living in the colony. On the other hand the office-bearers of Tata Workers Union are very upset with the incident.

Sources say that fire broke out in AF-2 Flats parking at Friday night and within a short time the bikes parked there were completely gutted.

A fire tenders was summoned and it controlled the fire.

The locals say that a similar fire had broken out in teh parking on February 29, 2016 too.

The residents of the Flats said that recently the colony residents had locked the main gate owing to gathering of anti-social elements within the colony premises.

They said that miscreants used to openly create problems and this had forced them to lock the main gate.

Kadma police too reached the site and started investigating the matter. Police are looking into all aspects of the incident.
