Sahebganj: Unidentified assailants shot dead Arun Shah, a businessman, in Sahebganj. Shahś bullet-ridden body was recovered Sunday from Chhota Barmasia under Borio police station area.
The businessman was abducted a few days back.
Yesterday, the abductors had assaulted cops searching for Shah. An ASI of police was shot in the abdomen by the criminals. The officer in-charge of Borio was also injured in the incident.
The very next day the businessmanś body was found. It was noticed by the villagers.
Police said a manhunt was on for the culprits.
