SIT Team Cracks Case of Young Man’s Murder in Bondih Village

The diligent efforts of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) have led to a breakthrough in the murder case of a young man in Bondi village, revealing a motive rooted in personal misconduct.

SERAIKELA – On February 26, the Seraikela district was shaken by the murder of a young man within the Krishnapur industrial area, under the jurisdiction of the RIT police station. Following the victim’s family’s complaint, a thorough investigation was launched.

The SIT, established under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police and led by the SDPO, meticulously gathered evidence, ultimately uncovering the truth behind the tragic event.

The investigation’s success led to the arrest of an individual connected to the case, shedding light on the motives behind the murder.

Superintendent of Police Manish Toppo revealed that the victim frequently visited the house of the accused to consume Hadiya, a local brew, where he would harass the accused’s sister. Despite warnings, the victim’s behavior did not change, culminating in his murder.

The police discovered the victim, identified as Sonaram, in a mutilated state, hinting at the gruesome nature of the crime.

The arrested suspect is reported to have a prior criminal record, adding complexity to the case.

Members of the Adityapur and RIT police stations, including in-charges Nitin Kumar Singh and Vinay Kumar, alongside several sub-inspectors and constables, participated in the operation leading to the arrest.

This case has highlighted the critical role of specialized investigative teams in resolving criminal activities and ensuring justice for victims and their families.
