Abandoned Two-Storey House Collapses in Jamshedpur, Damaging Parked Car

A dilapidated two-storey house collapsed in Jugsalai, causing significant damage to nearby property.

JAMSHEDPUR – A two-storey house on Ram Tekri Branch Road under Jugsalai police station collapsed on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2:15 pm, causing immediate chaos in the area.

Neighbors reported that the house had been closed for many years following the owner’s death.

The house, in a dilapidated condition for years, was previously occupied by tenants but had been abandoned for some time.

As the structure collapsed, Goyal Gaurav’s car parked below was severely damaged.

Reports also indicate that three dogs died in the incident.

Fortunately, no human injuries were reported, with only the dogs being affected.

The incident has highlighted the risks posed by abandoned and neglected buildings in the area.

Residents expressed concerns about the safety of other similar structures in the vicinity.

Local authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the collapse and assess the condition of nearby buildings to prevent future incidents.
