JAMSHEDPUR – The Department of Pain Medicine & Anaesthesiology at Central Hospital, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, marked a significant milestone by performing its first balloon kyphoplasty or vertebral augmentation.
This procedure was successfully conducted on a D11 vertebrae fracture, showcasing promising results.
Globally, osteoporosis impacts approximately 200 million individuals, with a high incidence of vertebral compression fractures (VCFs).
